Your Brand – Your Way

Do you find yourself saying… “But my thing is awesome, I’ve really figured out the best xyz thing people really need, why am I having a hard time selling, I’m really good at what I do and I really have so much to offer!”

Ok so lets cut to the chase friends. Here’s the truth. Just because you have a great product or service doesn’t mean people will want to hire you or buy.

Pause for a moment and really take that in.

A brand isn’t just a great service/product with a logo and graphics. It’s not just great employees. It’s not how much you spend on ads.

There is one key thing that sets you apart from everyone else doing what you do.

It’s YOU!

+ 1 key question.

What do you stand For?

What is your brand’s purpose?

Guys, It’s so important to set some goals around brand purpose.

You’re like um yeah duh of course.

Well, how are you communicating that to your audience??

A business whose customers and employees can answer the question, “Why are we here?” will create deeper emotional connections with consumers, employees, investors, and other stakeholders. Here are a couple examples.

To motivate every athlete in the world. “We believe that if you have a body you can be an athlete” —Nike

“Create a world where beauty is a source of confidence, not anxiety” —Dove

So it’s not about the shoes or the soap, well it is but it isn’t.

Its about how they then communicate that purpose, consistently and clearly.

How do you communicate your brand purpose?

Let me know in the comments!

Do you have a clear brand purpose? Hopefully, you all know mine….

Let’s create something great together!
